Opening the New Mishnah Line

Let's learn another line. גמרא, ורב מתנה אמר מהכא. ומתחילה סלקא דעתין we learned, גידל אמר, Gidal said, when we mentioned to the, the pasuk before, that he, גדול, that they spoke, the לשון is ויברך עזרא את השם אלוקים הגדול, that means שגדלו בשם המפורש. Takeh he says it means that they used שם המפורש. רב מתנה אמר, no, that what he said was, he said the words הקל הגדול הגבור והנורא. He said these words, and they used the Eibershter גדול, mimela in that tefillah they said the word גדול, that's why he says הקל הגדול. Gemara will explain what's so special about this. It says the eggs that even were incubated already wouldn't get, didn't hatch when this happened, they're already. Peshita. There's no ta'avah for anything. Right, there's no ta'avah for anything, either. עונש, עונש.

Describing Yetzer Hara as a Lion Cub

How is the yetzer hara being talked about physically? Just on another level, right? Right, we just have to use physical terminology because we don't relate to anything that's, but it doesn't look like a fire, and that's. And they call it a fiery cub, a little lion, that's a baby lion. Gave out a roar. Why a cub? It should be a big lion, I'd say. Yeah, he's not so small. He's pretty big, unfortunately. So what about, what is this avodah zarah, so we still have anger, we have these things that are like avodah zarah. Like avodah zarah, yeah, but avodah zarah itself, they don't, no ta'avah. People still do avodah zarah, you know. I mean in Africa and in India people do it. Well, talking we talking Yidden here, no, or are we talking? In general we're saying, but in the world, but there's no ta'avah to it.
