Then you should be able to start davening. שכן מצינו בנביאים הראשונים, we find by the first נביאים, שחותמין את דבריהם בדברי שבח ובדברי נחמות, that they used to finish that each נביא finishes with praise of השם, נחמה, comfort for the יידן, that's how they finish. If you remember from תשעה באב, there are two פסוקים, there's one פסוק, the end of the end is two פסוקים: השיבנו ה' אליך ונשובה חדש ימינו כקדם, make us return, then the next פסוק, כי אם מאוס מאסתנו. What we do is, when we say איכה, at the end, after we say the last פסוק, which is not so good, we repeat the פסוק before. But he says even the last פסוק is not bad, because you have to read the two פסוקים together. השיבנו תחת כי אם מאוס מאסתנו, make return us instead of being מואס with us. 'Cause היך מה דאת אמר, like it says, בדבר השם שמים נעשו, שמים was made with the דבר, the דיבור of השם, so when it says הולך ודיבר, it goes on that. רבי יודן בריה דרב יודא אמר, he says, ובנחמות ירושלים היו עסוקין. They were involved in the comfort of ירושלים. כמו דאת אמר, like it says, דברו על לב ירושלים, and the אייבערשטער said to ישעיה הנביא to comfort the אידן, he says, דברו, talk על לב ירושלים, and here it says, דיבר. ורבנן אמרי, רבנן said, במרכבה היו עסוקין. They were involved in the מרכבה. היך מה דאת אמר, like it says, right after they finished talking, it says, והנה רכב אש וסוסי אש, then came a רכב אש, a wagon of fire and horses of fire came. So, since it says that, that's what they were talking about, so they were talking about the מרכבה. Something a bit further: רב חזקיה, רב יעקב אמר, רב אחא, רב יוסף בשם רב יוחנן, they all said this, לעולם אל יהא הפסוק הזה סוס מתיר פיך. אמר רבי פנחס בשם רב הושעיא, רבי פנחס said in the name of רב הושעיא, המתפלל בבית הכנסת, if you דאווען in a שול, כאלו מקריב מנחה טהורה, like you מקריב a קרבן מנחה, a טהור'דיקע מנחה. And why דווקא מנחה? 'Cause a מנחה has something that a קרבן of a בהמה doesn't have. רש\"י says, נפש כי תקריב, it says by מנחה, נפש, רש\"י says, because who brings a קרבן מנחה? A poor person. And when he brings his little bit of flour, he's so poor usually he's poor that he can't even afford it. So, his giving little bit of flour, he's giving up his own נפש. So when you, so a קרבן מנחה means you're giving up of yourself. אמר רבי יצחק בריה דרבי אלעזר, רבי יצחק the son of, by the way רבי אלעזר said, ולא היא, not only as we said before it's a good place to דאווען, אלא שאלקים עומד על גבו, the אייבערשטער stands on top of them. When you דאווען in שול, the אייבערשטער is on top of you, which means he's on top of you, he hears better, he's close to you, so he accepts your תפילות better. מאי טעמא, where do we see this from? The גמרא tells a story which we learned actually in בבלי also. אמרי עליה על רבי חנינא בן דוסא, they said on רבי חנינא בן דוסא, שהיה עומד ומתפלל, once he was standing and דאווענען, ובא חברבר והכישו, came a snake and bit him, ולא הפסיק את תפלתו, he didn't stop דאווענען. Now this is a snake which it says over there which is a ערוד, the גמרא ערוד, which is more poisonous, so if it bites a person, he dies, unless there is an עצה, the גמרא says. אז הלכו וכאשר, they went, ומצאו אותו חברבר מת מוטל על פי על פי חורו. They saw when they came they saw it bit bit him, but the the snake died. The גמרא here doesn't even say the details, over there it says that he, there was a hole where it was, so he put his foot on the hole, and the snake bit him, and the snake died from the bite. אמרו, so they said, אוי לו לאדם שנשכו חברבר, אוי וויי to a person that the snake bit him, אבל אוי לו לחברבר שנשכו רבי חנינא בן דוסא, אוי וויי to the snake that bit רבי חנינא בן דוסא. Then the גמרא asks, מאי איסקידיה דהאי חברברא כד אתי למנשך לבר נשא? What should we do when this snake does bite a person? It's poisonous. Why why the snake died? Huh? Why did the snake die? בחור, in his, it was a מזיק and his זכות killed him. We'll see in a second anyway how it happened. Just a second. So the גמרא asks, what do you do if a snake like this kind ערוד bites you? Says like this: אם בר נש קודם למיא, if a person goes to the water before the snake, חברברא חברברא מיית, the snake will die. אי חברברא קדים למיא, if the snake happens to get to the water before you, בר נש מאית, a person will die. It's a סגולה. אמרו ליה תלמידיה, so the תלמידים said to him, רבי לא הרגשת? You didn't feel the snake bit you? אמר להם יבוא עלי אם לא ממש היה ליבי מכוון בתפילה. The אייבערשטער made the water come, the water came, so his feet were in the water, וממילא the snake died. לקיים מה שנאמר, this fulfills the פסוק where it says, רצון יראיו יעשה ואת שועתם ישמע ויושיעם. The will of those that fear him the אייבערשטער does, and he listens to their תפילות. So he listened to his תפילה that he didn't die, and he made this נס that the מעיין should come. So I always wonder, why did they have to make such a נס? Why didn't they make a נס that the snake died? Why do you have to make a נס of the water and everything? It's more מולבש בדרך הטבע, I guess. To make a מעיין all of a sudden is more מולבש בטבע than a snake dies? I think a snake could die, it could die. But to have a water, a spring pop up in a place where there is no water is a bigger נס, it sounds like. So the אייבערשטער made this נס. But the water is under the ground, yeah, diamond. Listen, I don't know, I've done Nu, so? Nu, nu, but yeah, but still this גופא the אייבערשטער could have made the snake died. They made What do you even want to show us, like like in a ירושלמי? And then it says after that, ונדעה נרדפה לדעת את ה', let's run to know Hashem, כשחר נכון מוצאו, like the morning, and the פסוק finishes off, ויבוא כגשם לנו, like a rain. וממילא, since the פסוק goes one after another, one talks about תחיית המתים, one talks about the rain, so we see that תחיית המתים and the rain go together. What are the first two days? Huh? What are they? He says עולם הזה and עולם הבא. And then there's other תחיית המתים. ביאת המשיח and and תחיית המתים. Okay.
